She has an unusual countenance! There is something olde worlde about her, like an Italian princessa! I love rare beauty in a face. It’s especially lovely if the face is atypical for any reason. With her translucent, sallow skin color and deep set eyes, she is a haunting beauty.
Her unusual, exotic features mesmerized me and she manifested as an old world, Mediterranean young lady who might - in another age - have sat for da Vinci (not that I compare myself to him!!). I only hoped to give her justice.
