About Cat Savage Art

Cat Savage finds beauty and hope in unusual places, reveals beauty often overlooked or ignored. She creates an ethereal fantasy world in her art where ‘anything is possible if you only see it deep in your heart.’

Cat Savage is a long time artist in varied media, including oils and acrylic paints. She has juried and presented photographic art in New England at the Peabody Essex Museum through Rockport Art Association and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA. Cat has also had solo art exhibitions in MA.

Cat owned her own gallery/gift shop in MA. Her sons were a huge influence & help and were both photographers in the gallery.

Cat paints art on canvas, wood & art papers. She began her art career creating murals. Her style is expressive and dreamy and is easily identifiable.

Cat’s process is classical alla prima (even with acrylics) with little to no drawing base. She often blends on the brush by adding more than one color at once.
